By Jennifer Crust in wedding texas photographers piazza in the village colleyville

Melissa and Brandon tied the knot at the posh Piazza in the Village in Colleyville Texas!  It was an elegant ceremony in the chapel, followed by a sparkling reception in their crystal ballroom.

I love this wedding photo of the happy couple!

Lost Oak Winery Wedding, Burleson Texas Wedding Photographers

What a cozy wedding Mike and Regina had at Lost Oak Winery in Burleson, Texas on this rainy day!  Huddled under the metal roof of the patio and a tent, a laid-back Mike and Regina took their vows.  I love these wedding photos of their easy smiles and the laughter during the beautiful ceremony.

I love this pic of the little ring bearers waiting for the ceremony to start! First shoot in the new boutique room!

By Jennifer Crust in arlington texas portrait studio

One of the things I always wanted to do, but didn't have enough room to do in the old space, was to make a room especially for infants and kids.  The boutique room is the prefect blend of these ideas - beautiful natural light, lots of room for kids, brothers, families, props, backdrops and fun :).  Thanks to two special families, I have now had my first two shoots in the boutique!  Ryleigh is the one-year-old of one of my special wedding couples from last year.

She's the same age as my son, so we turned the shoot into a (hectic!) playdate, which included a romp in the park. Our new portrait studio - Progress and growth!

By Jennifer Crust in arlington texas portrait studio

I have taken Eternal Stories on quite a journey this summer!  We have said farewell to our old office space, and hello to our new studio suite in Arlington!  175 square feet, as a couple of my clients and families have seen, is not enough space to office, shoot, and grow creatively.  We will be much better able to grow and create in our new space which is at least 6x bigger.  My only regret is the fact that I have not documented the journey as much as I had planned here on my blog!  So, I am now going to go back and share some of the pictures, thoughts, and moments from the past couple of months.

Our decision to move started when I realized how many of my wonderful brides from the past were coming back to me for pictures with their lovely new (growing!) families.  I wanted a space I could be proud to bring these loyal clients back to year after year, with enough space to give them the shoot they were looking for.  I had my eye on The Woods office park, even if for no other reason than the fact that is is less than a 4 minute drive from my house, and I would be able to meet a client at a moment's notice.  I was immediately drawn in by the homey feel of the location - the windows, small front porch, back doors, fireplace and kitchenette.

Here are a couple of shots I took when i first signed on the suite, with ideas of how to make it "mine" beginning to form in my mind.

New Studio, unfinished, Here is a pic inside my new studio that I just signed. Needs a little work, but I have a vision! New studio office, This will be the office when it is finished I knew immediately that this was just the place for me. I would have two rooms to shoot in, each achieving an entirely different look. The larger room is dedicated to studio shooting with all of our studio lights, and the other room is dedicated to natural-light shooting (perfect for newborns and infants!) Now it was time to begin the process of moving and getting everything ready for the first shoot! Next blog posts on the topic will contain a couple of "after" pics of the new space.
